After this training you know the tasks, methods and techniques of software testing and test management. You have learned all steps of the test process from the planning and design via the specification up to the implementation and test documentation. Additionally, you are familiar in using the international defined terms. The course gives theoretical, as well as practical knowledge and trends. Exam preparation and revision is also included. Our training contents correspond to the current CTFL Curriculum. After the seminar you can take the certification exam ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level. If the training is held face-to-face, the CTFL certification exam will take place on the 3rd day from approx. 16:00 - 17:00. If the training is conducted online, you will receive further information on booking an individual online exam date from the responsible exam organization a few days before the Training starts. Necessary technical requirements and procedure of the online exam
The examination fee of EUR 240 plus VAT is not included in the seminar price.

This ISTQB® CTFL seminar is aimed at testers, test analysts, test developers, test consultants, test managers and software developers. In addition, the course also addresses people in the roles of product owner, project manager, quality manager, requirements engineer, business analyst and IT manager who want to acquire a basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of software testing.

Voraussetzungen

It is recommended that candidates have at least 12 months experience in software testing or development and have basic knowledge of software test practices and some knowledge of software development practices.

Our field-proven CGI trainers explain the basics of software testing according to the ISTQB® Certified Tester Curriculum 2018 in an understandable way. Discussions with the other participants of the training as well as exercises on the main topics and the discussion of case studies help you to consolidate the newly acquired knowledge and apply it in your projects.

Hinweis

The course duration of three days is the minimum time necessary for teaching the content of the curriculum. We recommend keeping the evenings after the training sessions free in order to be able to work on the learned material and exercises to be prepared for the ISTQB Foundation Level certification exam. In the afternoon of the last training day you will take part in the certification exam, which is supervised by an independent and authorized certification institute. The certification charge of 240,- EUR is not included in the course fee. In addition to the course material all participants will get "Foundations of Software Testing" by Graham/Black et alter.
